Event Description
In this webinar, we will explore how to use both Sketchpad and TinerPlots to develop a conceptual understanding of rate of change and slope, leading to a formal definition of slope and how it is calculated. Through the use of dynamic mathematics software, students will be able to connect a real-world understanding of rate of change to the graphical and symbolic representation of slope. This webinar will focus on Grade 8 Common Core Standards of Equations and Functions.
