Event Description
In this web seminar, you will be guided through two hands-on activities that demonstrate the effects of distance and angle of inclination on the absorption of energy. The activities are taken from the MESSENGER education module. You will learn about the MESSENGER mission to Mercury and the challenges engineers faced as they developed ways of keeping the spacecraft and its delicate instruments and circuits cool as it orbits Mercury.
