Event Description
During this web seminar, you will learn how to use this hands-on activity to integrate mathematics and physical science in the classroom. You will discover how your students can use statistical sampling to estimate the chemical composition of the sun. In the hands-on activity “What Are We Made Of? The Sun, Earth and You,” students analyze data in a similar way as scientists analyzed solar particles collected by the GENESIS spacecraft.
