In this web seminar you will learn about the relationships between air pressure, temperature, volume and cloud formation. You will get an overview of the conditions necessary to cloud formation and then see how to apply them to making a cloud in a bottle. Information will be provided about an extension to this activity, the S'COOL Project, which involves student participation in authentic science. By reporting observations of cloud data. students assist in the validation of NASA's CERES satellite instruments. Clouds are an important part of our atmosphere. S'COOL observations provide one more piece in the puzzle of how clouds affect our weather and climate.
