NBClearn about the Olympic Videos

When I was on the site last night there was a section right next to the video that was an experiment that went along with the video and they are no longer there. Does anyone know where to get them now? The videos are great and I wanted to use the experiments in class this coming week but they are now gone:(

The folks at NBCLearn were very prompt in responding to the question about the experiments. Apparently here were problems with the appearance in the video player. The activities can be located at the NBC News Archives on Demand site, www.archives.nbclearn.com. Once on that page, select "Special Collections" from the left-hand menu. That will take you to the list of videos and activities. You'll see a "print" option on the bottom of the window of the activity.

There are also links on the back of every video to lesson plans and activities created by NBCLearn's partner, lessonopoly.org.

Lesson plans can also be found at the lessonopoly site at http://lessonopoly.org/svef/?q=node/9086

I found the lessonopoly site and used their information. I looked through all 33 student activities and created 8 of my own to use with my students this week. They love it!!! Thanks for the help:)

Would you be willing to share the activities you developed here on MSP2? Files can be uploaded here on this forum page. Perhaps others would be willing to share how they are taking advantage of the Olympics to stimulate or support learning as well.
