Middle School Portal

the network for middle school math and science teachers

I was exploring Glogster this morning, wondering, "How can Glogster help in a learning
and teaching setting?" My search for "education" on the Glogster site turned up a
glog about Web 2.0 tools for classroom use.

Since I'm illiterate with Glogster, I can't comment on the quality of
this site, but I did follow the links, and was intrigued with the list of drawing and mapping tools (which, by the way, are organized in Wikispaces):
 So, my questions, now:

  • Which of these drawing and mapping tools do you use?
  • Which ones do you use with your students?
  • Which ones do you use with your colleagues (for planning or professional development)?
And, of course....
  • Why?

Thanks for bringing up Glogster here. Brenda Dyck introduced us to it on MiddleTalk about a year ago.

May I add EduGlogster http://edu.glogster.com for those who want to use it with students. One may register for student accounts (free). It is a protected area not open to the public.
