With the new common core literacy standards the science teachers in my district are trying to gather good reading materials from reputable sources. We are also working on making sure to hit all of th ACT College Readiness Standards. Finding articles with quality data in the form of flowcharts, tables etc. is proving to be difficult

Todd - Once place to look for excellent reading materials would be the National Science Teacher Association (NSTA) Outstanding Science Tradebooks for Students K-12 Program. Each year NSTA chooses an extensive list - http://www.nsta.org/publications/ostb/. Kim
