Hi Amanda - So glad you joined the MSP2 network. I wanted to point out that we've got lots of resources for middle school math and science educators - look at the left side of the Main page - Math and Science Resource Guides, Diigo lists, and project blogs where we highlight exemplary online math and science resources and the research that is going on at the polar regions.

We've had three Tech Talks so far - one on Interactive Notebooks, Moodle, and Digital Storytelling. You can get to the recordings of those by clicking on the Web Archive link.

You can see all our upcoming events by clicking on the Events tab. The next TechTalk topic is Using Wikis. We've got lots more topics to cover in the next few months - technology, pedagogy, content knowledge, all sorts of fun stuff!

Any ideas or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated! Hope you get involved - your perspective (1 years in the classroom) would be really good - believe it or not there are lots of veteran teachers that are members!

Welcome – Kim

Welcome, Amanda. We're glad you've joined MSP2. Echoing Karolee's note to you, yes...please share a little bit about yourself so we know how to help you navigate through the site. For example, what prompted you to check out MSP2? Are you a member of any other online professional learning communities?

I always consider it a bit of endorsement when someone finds out about MSP2 from a friend or colleague.

Again, welcome.

Hi Amanda
Welcome to MSP2
Please introduce yourself here and lets us know how we can help you. Do you teach math? Science? Do you work in education in another capacity?
I would like to encourage you to explore the site, join groups, and add to discussions. The site is growing and as we get more members, we have more to share.
