Hi Amy - I just read Mary's welcome - I should have put two and two together! Hope you are liking your new digs. The following is some information about the resources that we are developing through MSP2 - any help in terms of getting the word out would be greatly appreciated.

We've got lots of resources for middle school math and science teachers - look at the left side of the Main page - Math and Science Online Publications, Diigo lists, and three project blogs where we highlight exemplary online resources - Exemplary Resources for Middle School Math, Polar News and Notes, and Science and Connecting News with the National Science Education Standards.

We’ve also started holding free Elluminate-based webinars through the MSP2 project - you can see all the details at http://www.msteacher2.org/events. These webinars are the start of an ongoing series that will touch on topics from A to Z. We are going to try to have at least two per month. These are the ones we have scheduled so far:

Interactive Notebooks - 7/29
Moodle for Middle School - 8/5
Digital Storytelling - 8/12
Wikis for the Classroom - 8/19

Do you think it would be possible for David to do one of his tried and true presentations as part of this series? Do you have any other ideas for topics that you think we should address?

Talk to you soon, Kim

Thanks for joining us, Amy! I sure hope that you'll be willing to jump in, share, offer advice, comment, explore our resources, etc. You and the rest of the ITSCO folks have much to offer!

Up for doing sessions on Google Apps?? ; - )
