Yes! I can see that you are very busy. If there is anything that pops up in your classes that the MSP2 community might be able to help with or support you in, let us know. Also, feel free to share ideas and info from your experiences.

Hi Bernita - So glad you joined! I used to live in Gainesville so I'm very familiar with the Ocala area. I got my Master's at UF. Thanks for filling out your profile - we've been doing lots of work with misconceptions - we'll plan on putting together a resource guide of resources and share it with the community.
Lots of our members have said they need help with classroom management - don't be surprised if you are asked about this strength.
Hope you will take advantage of our webinars - one of our upcoming covers Universal Design for Learning. It would be great if you would attend.
Regards, Kim

Welcome, Bernita,
It's wonderful to have someone with your experience join us! As Tom suggests, there are several places that might serve as resources for your interest areas. Here are few specifics, if you haven't had a chance to explore much yet:
1. The math and science online resource guides are standards-based, quality teaching resources that have been gathered or written by math and science education specialists.
2. There is an "Integrating Technology" group that engages in focused conversations on those issues.
3. Another MSP2 member is eager to engage in conversation about dealing with student misconceptions in the "Educational and Action Research" group.
4. We've had several webinars on various digital and web-based tools for teaching and learning. You can access recordings or past events and check out upcoming events.
Again, welcome!

Hello Bernita. Welcome to the Portal. I think that you'll find many topics relevant to your subject areas.
Please take some time to look at all that this site has to offer and then please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. If you're looking for ways to integrate technology, then I would recommend looking at past blogs and the online workshps that we offer.
Also, please feel free to share more about yourself and some of your ideas in the forums and blogs.
Take Care,
Tom
