There are all kinds of opportunities to learn and share in this professional network. Have you had a chance to explore the site yet? Be sure to look at the resources on the home page. This will show some of the great tools on the NSDL site. There are several sites that can give you some new ideas in your lesson planning and access other resources.
To help connect with people with similar interests, you may want to join groups. Group discussion provide a place for you to share your ideas and advice with others.
There are also events, like the Tech Talks, available. Tech Talks are recorded, so if you miss a one, you can check out the recorded session and add to the discussion boards.
The great thing about social networks is the ability to connect with our peers. The more we all share, the more we all can learn. There is a wealth of resources here, and now you are a part of that too. Let us know if there is something in particular you want us to address or topics and technologies you might want to learn about. Please share with us your successes too. I am always on the look out for new strategies.
