Welcome, Helen,
We're glad to have you on board here at MSP2. Have you had much opportunity to check out the site? If not, here are a few places that might be helpful:
1. The Science Resource Guides are standards-based resources for middle grades educators. The guides are wiki pages, thereby allowing folks to contribute to the resources.
3. There are several Groups to help focus and direct conversation. We also see these as places to encourage more one-to-one connection between professionals.

2. We've been facilitating Webinars over the past months and record them for review and use after the fact. There are resource pages attached to which you are also welcome to contribute.
3. There are several Groups to help focus and direct conversation. We also see these as places to encourage more one-to-one connection between professionals.
4. A couple of current conversations that might interest you include--
- an invitation by a teacher in NC to connect students across the US around the topic of weather
- a discussion about science fiction literature as inspiration to students
- conversation about teaching critical thinking skills
Finally, the NMSA Annual Conference is in Baltimore, Nov. 4-6. MSP2 is making available 100 free conference registrations. Information on the opportunity is available in the Forum.
Feel free to jump in, post a comment, share ideas and resources, ask questions, engage in any of the discussions.
Again, welcome.
