Hi Janine - It would be great if you go back into your profile and answer two additional questions that we just added - I need help with and I can help with. We want people to be able to search by those parameters.
In addition, we've just started a book club - the fall book is Omnivore's Dilemma - it would be great if you joined in. Welcome! Kim
Hi Janine - I don't know much about Atlantis - I'll have to investigate. Thanks for the information. I'll keep Diane email and contact her when we finally get around to thinking about holding PD in a virtual space. I wonder how many of our MSP2 members are comfortable meeting in a virtual environment? Maybe we should start a group? Regards, Kim
Hi Janine - Let me second Mary's welcome! Love the image - are you active in Second Life? We've been talking about meeting in world as an alternative to webinars. Have you had any experience with that? Regards, Kim
Hello, Janine,
Welcome to MSP2. The community is growing, and we're glad you've joined us.
The anchor points of MSP2 are the math and science online resources--quality, digital teaching resources that have been collected and developed by expert math and science educators. Because they are wiki pages, MSP2 community members can contribute to the resources. I hope you'll be willing to do that.
Would you be willing to share a little bit more about yourself, either here on your wall, or by adding to the "text box" on your page? For example, what grades do you teach? What math and/or science topics do you especially enjoy teaching? Do you belong to any other online professional learning communities?
I hope that you'll be willing to jump in and participate--comment, ask a question, engage in one of the forums, write a blog post. The more that members engage directly, the better for all!
Again, welcome.
