Hope you join us online this Thursday, 1/13 at 4pm EST as we explore how reader's theater can be used to improve comprehension of informational text and help students learn science concepts. We'll focus on science-themed text, but the same principles can apply to other content areas as well. You can find the link to participate, the descriptions, and archived recordings of all the webinars at http://wiki.nsdl.org/index.php/BeyondPenguins/Seminars
Hi Kimberly - So glad to see that you joined! Let me give you quick overview of the site - on the main page - the resources that we have developed are on the left - MSP2 Resources box and our blogs. We have lots of events - technology, content, and pedagogy. The archived recordings of the ones we've done so far are in the link - Webinar Archive in the MSP2 Resources box. And we have lots of groups!
It would be great if you go back into your profile and answer two additional questions that we just added - I need help with and I can help with. We want people to be able to search by those parameters.
In addition, we've just started a book club - the fall book is Omnivore's Dilemma - it would be great if you joined in. Welcome! Kim

Hi Kimberly,
Welcome to the MSP2 community! So glad you've joined us.
Have you had a chance to explore the site, yet? You'll find lesson ideas, digital resources for classroom use, and connections to current news items. Look at the left side of the Main page and you'll find Math and Science Resource Guides, Diigo lists, and project blogs to name just a few.
We've had several Tech Talks recently - on Interactive Notebooks, Moodle, and Digital Storytelling. You can get to the recordings of those by clicking on the Web Archive link. You can also see all our upcoming events by clicking on the Events tab.
We're also soon to be adding resources for youth - a series of virtual learning experiences for students. So plenty more to come!
Please send any ideas or feedback you have our way, your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Sarita
