Hi Laurie
Welcome to MSP2
There are a variety of resources available here, so I recommend you explore the site. If you have any questions or comments, you can add those to the discussion boards.
You might also want to join groups, like our New Teacher group. Joining groups, adding to discussions, and introducing yourself are great ways to connect with people with similar interests, to find more information and share your own experiences and expertise.
There are also events, like the Tech Talks, available. Even if you miss a Tech Talk, you can check out the recorded session and add to the discussion boards.
Let us know if there is something in particular you want us to address or topics and technologies you might want to learn about.
If you need any help or would like to see something added, just let us know.
toodles
Welcome to the MSP2 community! So glad you've joined us.
Have you had a chance to explore the site, yet? You'll find lesson ideas, digital resources for classroom use, and connections to current news items. Look at the left side of the Main page and you'll find Math and Science Resource Guides, Diigo lists, and project blogs to name just a few. You'll also see that we have some links in the MSP2 Resources box - Getting Funding, Favorite Blogs, and Freeware/Shareware. We hope that members of the network will help us add content to these pages.
We've had several Tech Talks recently - on Reading in Mathematics, Interactive Notebooks, Diigo, Moodle, Wikis, and Digital Storytelling. You can get to the recordings of those by clicking on the Web Archive link. You can also see all our upcoming events by clicking on the Events tab. We have a book club meeting this month, and several other topical webcasts and online events.
We're also soon to be adding resources for youth - a series of virtual learning experiences for students. So plenty more to come!
Please send any ideas or feedback you have our way, your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Sarita
