Hi,

Welcome to MSP2! If you are interested, there are three places where you can immediately contribute to this site or take something away. Check out the discussions under forums - Cool Tech Tools, Tips for New Teachers and Science Content Knowledge. There is a great discussion about Integrating Technology, too.

Is there anything I can help you with right now regarding being a new teacher?

Would you like to contribute a tip or technology tool you have used recently in your classroom? Please reply to this comment or post under forums "Cool Tech Tools".

Do you have a favorite resource for lessons, videos, or content material for your classroom? Please reply to this comment or post under forums "Science Content Knowledge".

Aloha!

Hi Lisa
Welcome to MSP2

I am glad you joined us!

Have you had a chance to explore the site yet? There are all kinds of opportunities to learn and share in this professional network.

On the home page, there are links to resources like the NSDL site. This site organizes information by topic, saving you work in your searches. It will help you find sites that can help you in lesson planning, educational strategies, and other opportunities. There is also a wiki of teacher discussions about several of these topics.

To help connect with people with similar interests, you may want to join groups. Group discussion provide a place for you to share your ideas with others and have some of your own questions answered by your peers. You might find some great new activities or ways to connect you and your class to other educational communities.

There are also events, like the Tech Talks, available. Tech Talks are recorded, so if you miss a one, you can check out the recorded session and add to the discussion boards.
Let us know if there is something in particular you want us to address or topics and technologies you might want to learn about.

If you need any help or would like to see something added, just let us know.
toodles
