Introduction
I am currently teaching 7th grade math and science in a charter school in Wisconsin called Kaleidoscope Academy. We are the only "true" middle school in our district. Our school allows kids access to more fine arts and technology than a traditional school. As a result, I am trying hard to stay on top of technology uses in the classroom.

We've had two Tech Talks so far - one on Interactive Notebooks and one on Moodle in the Middle - did you participate in one of these? You can get to the recordings of those by clicking on the Webinar Archive link.
You can see all our upcoming events by clicking on the Events tab. The next two are on Digital Storytelling and Using Wikis. We've got lots more topics to cover in the next few months - technology, pedagogy, content knowledge, all sorts of fun stuff!
Any ideas or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated!
Welcome – Kim
The two easy ways are to come back and hit the link on the event page to the webinar or to go through the confirmation email you received. The link will take you straight to the activity in Elluminate.
Be sure to check in early. I thought I had my system set up but found it was having trouble loading. If you do find you are having any problems, don't hesitate to contact the help desk The support staff there are very helpful.

Kudos to you for your eagerness to stay on top of technology for use in the classroom. Kids are using technology in their daily lives; it's criminal that school forces them to "power down"
There is an Integrating Technology group here on MSP2 that you might find helpful and/or interesting. Currently there is some discussion about the "appropriate use" of technology.
I do hope you'll be willing to jump in and participate here on MSP2--post, comment, explore, question, share.
Again, welcome.
