Hi Mark - Hope your summer is going well! I wanted to update you on our free webinars and hope you can join us for one of them soon.
We've had three Tech Talks so far - one on Interactive Notebooks, Moodle, and Digital Storytelling. You can get to the recordings of those by clicking on the Web Archive link.
You can see all our upcoming events by clicking on the Events tab. The next TechTalk topic is Using Wikis. We've got lots more topics to cover in the next few months - technology, pedagogy, content knowledge, all sorts of fun stuff! Any ideas on additional topics or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated! Kim
Welcome to MSP2
Please introduce yourself here and lets us know how we can help you. Do you teach math, science, or do you work in education in another capacity?
I would like to encourage you to explore the site, join groups, and add to discussions. The site is growing and as we get more members, we have more to share.
If you need any help or would like to see something added, just let us know. We are here to help you.

Welcome, Mark. It's great to have you on board. Would you be willing to share a little bit about yourself? What you teach? What you LOVE to teach? What you're looking for from a portal like MSP2? What you'd like to contribute to the community?
We have a range of experience and settings already, so I hope that you can find support, resources, and new colleagues to help you in your work.
Hi Mark - So glad you joined the MSP2 network. We're just getting started so any ideas or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated! We've got lots of resources for middle school math teachers - look at the left side of the Main page - Math Publications, Diigo lists, and one of our project blogs where we highlight lots of exemplary online math (and science) resources - Resources for Middle School Math and Science.
I see you are from Denver CO - are you working with the National Science Digital Library (NSDL) folks from UCAR? I know they are working with Denver Public School System - MSP2 is one of the NSDL projects.
I also see (I see a lot) that you found the network via a web search - is there something specific that you are looking for? Any special issues or topics that you would like to see addressed? Well - in any case - welcome! Kim
