Hi Paul - Hope your summer is going well! I wanted to update you on our free webinars and hope you can join us for one of them soon and share with colleagues and your students.
We've had three Tech Talks so far - one on Interactive Notebooks, Moodle, and Digital Storytelling. You can get to the recordings of those by clicking on the Web Archive link.
You can see all our upcoming events by clicking on the Events tab. The next TechTalk topic is Using Wikis. We've got lots more topics to cover in the next few months - technology, pedagogy, content knowledge, all sorts of fun stuff! Any ideas on additional topics or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated! Kim
Paul, I'm not familiar with LiveText. Would you be willing to share a little bit about it? Feel free to post something about it in the Technology Group section, if you think it's appropriate.

Welcome, Paul,
We're so glad you've joined. We are eager to support teacher prep faculty as they help their students develop knowledge and skills in pedagogy and content. How does your college leverage digital tools for teaching and learning, especially with pre-service teachers?
Hi Paul - There are quite a few members that are college faculty - I'm going to start a group for Teacher Educators - hope you'll join. I sure have lots of questions that I would like to ask since I'm just now starting to teach the middle group especially about how much technology I should integrate into the class. Kim
Hi Paul - So glad you joined the MSP2 network. We're just getting started so any ideas or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated! We've got lots of resources for middle school science teachers - look at the left side of the Main page - Science Publications, Diigo lists, and two project blogs where we highlight lots of exemplary online science resources - Resources for Middle School Math and Science and Connecting News. We're having some really good discussions about integrating technology and the math group is starting to take off.
I see that you are college faculty - do you teach methods classes to preservice teachers? I'm at Ohio State University in the College of Education (and PI on the MSP2 project) and will be teaching the middle school science preservice teacher cadre this fall - Teaching and Learning Science at the Middle Level. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get my preservice teachers involved in this network. Any ideas? Kim
