Paul - That is for sure! They have been working on developing a whole set of simulations specifically for middle school. The new sims include:
Build an Atom
Gravity and Orbits
Molecules and Light
Balancing Chemical Equations
Isotopes and Atomic…
Roger, I'm not sure they have exactly what you're looking for, but here's a great source of science animations, particularly for physical science.

Hi Roger
Welcome to MSP2
Glad to see you found some groups. Its a great way to find more people with similar interests, to find information and share your own experiences and expertise with others. The more we all share, the more we all can learn. There is a wealth of resources here, and now you are a part of that too.
If you need any help or would like to see something added, just let us know.
We would love to hear your ideas and any feedback you can offer to help us improve the site.
toodles
Hi Roger - So glad you joined the MSP2 network. I wanted to point out that we've got lots of resources for middle school math and science teachers - look at the left side of the Main page - Math and Science Resource Guides, Diigo lists, and project blogs where we highlight lots of exemplary online math and science resources.
We've had two Tech Talks so far - one on Interactive Notebooks and one on Moodle in the Middle. You can get to the recordings of those by clicking on the Webinar Archive link.
You can see all our upcoming events by clicking on the Events tab. The next two are on Digital Storytelling and Using Wikis. We've got lots more topics to cover in the next few months - technology, pedagogy, content knowledge, all sorts of fun stuff!
Any ideas or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated!
Welcome – Kim
