A group for those who work at the district level--curriculum developers, professional development personnel, technolgoy coordinators--to share resources, get advice, and explore creative options!
Hi Sandra - Hope your summer is going well! I wanted to update you on our free webinars and hope you can join us for one of them soon.
We've had three Tech Talks so far - one on Interactive Notebooks, Moodle, and Digital Storytelling. You can get to the recordings of those by clicking on the Web Archive link.
You can see all our upcoming events by clicking on the Events tab. The next TechTalk topic is Using Wikis. We've got lots more topics to cover in the next few months - technology, pedagogy, content knowledge, all sorts of fun stuff! Any ideas on additional topics or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated! Kim
Welcome, Sandra! I gather you're a Mac person? Me too (at home, that is!). With 23 years experience, you have a great deal to offer this community. I hope you'll be willing to do so. I also hope that you'll discover some new resources, ideas, and professional friends to assist you.

Hi Sandra - So glad you joined the MSP2 network. We're just getting started so any ideas or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated! We've got lots of resources for middle school math and science teachers - look at the left side of the Main page - Science and Math Publications, Diigo lists, and two project blogs - Connecting News to the National Science Education Standards and Exemplary Resources for Middle School Math and Science. We're having some really good conversations about integrating technology and the math group is really starting to take off.
I see that you clicked on the lower grades too - we have another project that might be worthwhile for you to check out - Beyond Penguins and Polar Bears - Integrating Literacy and Science for K-5 Teachers. Truth be told - lots of middle school teachers use the resource too!
I also see that you checked "Other" - what other are you? Are there any specific topics or issues you would like us to address?
