Hi Susan - It would be great if you go back into your profile and answer two additional questions that we just added - I need help with and I can help with. We want people to be able to search by those parameters.
In addition, we've just started a book club - the fall book is Omnivore's Dilemma - it would be great if you joined in. Kim
Hi Susan - Let me second Mary's welcome. I wanted to point out of the resources that we've developed - look at the left side of the Main page - Science Resource Guides, Diigo lists, and project blogs where we highlight exemplary online math and science resources and the research that is going on at the polar regions.
You'll also see that we have some links in the MSP2 Resources box - Getting Funding, Favorite Blogs, and Freeware/Shareware. We hope that members of the network will help us add content to these pages.
So glad that you are planning on attending our webinars - any ideas on additional topics or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated! Welcome – Kim
Wow, Susan! You get the "most events" award! This is exciting!
So glad you've joined MSP2. I hope that the events will meet your needs and expectation. Please feel free to post any comments, questions, curiosities, related resources on the "comment wall" for any of the events. This is a way to engage other folks here on MSP2 with the topic and another way to participate.
Would you be willing to share a little bit more about yourself? For example, in what kind of setting do you work as a informal educator? What aspects of teaching science do you find most rewarding? Most challenging? What digital or web-based tools do you use in your teaching, or are you interested in using?
Feel free to jump into any of the activity (in addition to events!) here on MSP2--write a blog post, ask a question, engage in any of the discussions.
Again, welcome.
