Hi Susan!
Welcome to MSP2!
I am glad you joined us!
There are a variety of resources available here, so I recommend you explore the site. Be sure to look at the resources on the home page. The NSDL site will take you to several sites that can help you in lesson planning, educational strategies, or opportunities to access other resources.
The more we all share, the more we all can learn. There is a wealth of resources here, and now you are a part of that too. The forums are a great collaborative tool.
If you have any questions, comments, or ideas to share, you can add those to the discussion boards and get feedback from others.
There are also events you might be interested in. Events are recorded, so if you miss a one, you can check out the recorded session and add to the discussion boards. Let us know if there is something in particular you want us to address or topics and technologies you might want to learn about.
Personally, I would like to get a discussion on Science Fairs. What is the purpose, how can we organize them, and make them more educationally productive. Maybe you would like to join in!
If you need any help or would like to see something added, just let us know.
toodles
Have you had much opportunity to check out the site? If not, here are a few places that might be helpful:
1. The Math and Science Resource Guides are standards-based resources for middle grades educators. One of the Science Guides is on Science Fairs. The guides are wiki pages, thereby allowing folks to contribute to the resources. Please feel free to participate here.
3. There are several Groups to help focus and direct conversation. We also see these as places to encourage more one-to-one connection between professionals.
Please feel free to jump in wherever you feel drawn. Post a comment, share ideas and resources, ask questions, engage in any of the discussions. Also feel free to let us know if there is anything particular you are interested in or looking for.
