Hi Kenneth - Hope your summer is going well! I wanted to update you on our free webinars and hope you can join us for one of them soon.
We've had three Tech Talks so far - one on Interactive Notebooks, Moodle, and Digital Storytelling. You can get to the recordings of those by clicking on the Web Archive link.
You can see all our upcoming events by clicking on the Events tab. The next TechTalk topic is Using Wikis. We've got lots more topics to cover in the next few months - technology, pedagogy, content knowledge, all sorts of fun stuff! Any ideas on additional topics or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated! Kim
Hi Kenneth
Welcome to MSP2
I would like to encourage you to explore the site, join groups, add to discussions and introduce yourself. The site is growing and as we get more members, we have more to share.
If you need any help or would like to see something added, just let us know.
Love the picture!
Welcome Kenneth! Thanks for sharing a picture, too! There are some wonderful science folks here on MSP2--great resources, lots of varied experience. I hope you'll be willing to jump in, share, contribute, comment, offer from your experience. Please let me know if there is anything in particular you are looking for or hoping to gain.

Hi Kenneth - Thanks for joining us and welcome to the community. That's such a great picture - those flowers are just beautiful!!
We've got lots of resources for middle school science teachers - look at the left side of the Main page - Science Publications, Diigo lists, and two project blogs - Connecting News to the National Science Education Standards and Exemplary Resources for Middle School Math and Science. A third blog - Polar News and Resources might also be interesting to you - it's coming from another of our projects - Beyond Penguins and Polar Bears.
Right now there are three groups - Science, Math, and Integrating Technology - I would encourage you to join one or more and start a conversation. Are there any specific topics or issues you would like to see addressed?
Again, welcome!
Jessica
