Hello Marilex - I do agree it can be acquired but still there are really people who are born with the skill in problem solving, those who are fast learners compared to averaged math people right? Anyhow. Keep it up.

Well I used to think too that goodness in math was in the genes. But now I guess you were right. I have a friend who wasn't that good when we're in Gradeschool, and yet now in college he suddenly pass out.

It is indeed my honor to be here. I know that my access to the internet is quite limited for i do not possess mu own PC, yet i assure you that I would always find time to be here.
Sooner or later, right after our first semester ends this month, I would gratefully join with groups and discussion. I know I'll learn more being here. And I believe that the insights I have would be of at least a little to everyone.

In the school where I taught a couple of years ago, we had two wonderful teachers from the Philippines. They were excellent science teachers.
You are very smart to get involved in a social network for educators even before you begin teaching. You should be able to make connections with educators and other pre-service teachers that will help you complete your studies and have a number of activities to do with your students in your first job.

Even though you are a preservice teacher, we've got lots of resources that will be userful to you - look at the left side of the Main page - Math Resource Guides, Diigo lists, and project blogs where we highlight exemplary online math and science resources and the research that is going on at the polar regions.
You'll also see that we have some links in the MSP2 Resources box - Getting Funding, Favorite Blogs, and Freeware/Shareware. We hope that members of the network will help us add content to these pages.
