Great article, Tom. There is so much talk these days about the "gamefication" of education and the pros and cons, this is definitely one of the pros.

I think that this helps serve notice that educators need be proactive when it comes to adapting to how today's students learn. Granted many video games have their pitfalls (literally and figuratively), but they offer several positives as well- Problem solving, Patterns, & Algebra to name a few......
